Single mom AGAIN!

Well Mike has been gone for a week now, so that makes me a single mom once again. It's nice having my parents around but they sometimes make things harder because the girls get spoiled way too much! So now Kadee always gets what she wants and Kloe always has to be held and rocked to sleep, thanks mom and dad. Mike has not called me in 5 days now, I haven't heard one word from him. We talked way more, like every day when he was in Iraq and it's now 5 days, I just wish I knew he was ok. He is done on Aug 8th and thats when he commissions so we will see him then but it still feels so far away. I know a month should be easy compared to a year but it's still hard having him gone, Kadee keeps asking where daddy is and doesn't understand so it's pretty sad. Anyway I guess I don't have a lot to say. Here are a few recent pics of the girls and I.

Hey! Congrats to you guys! Is Mike at OCS or OBC or what? What's the plan for you guys! Anyway, have fun in Oregon and enjoy the spoiling time with Grandma and Grandpa-the damage won't last forever! :)

We will keep mike in our prayers for you. He will be home safe in no time. I love the pictures of you and the girls. It was so fun seeing you at michaels the other day. I felt so stupid that I didn't recognize you at first. You look so different with glasses. I haven't talked to Heather yet, but we will get together. I promise.

Cute girls!! The toy store thing worked so good, and it worked out for us that she didn't want a mega expensive toy, because she was so attached that we may have bought it for her! Good luck!

Catching up on missed comments:

Your girls are getting so big! Well Jess- I am SO glad you have a blog, I'm addicted too. Plus, our men are away and it keeps us out of trouble.
1- if you're not big into scrapbooking, cardmaking is an excellent hobby. Less Daunting, smaller projects, and having them personalized with actual effort means a lot more, I think. Also, supplies stretch-- scrapbooking is pricey, so it's nice to use up scraps, etc.
2- Your pictures are DARLING!
3- If you want to keep Kadee busy- I'm not sure where you would do it up there, but Tap and creative dance for the youngins helps dissolve all that energy ;)
4- If we end up at Ft. Benning together, we should start yoga or something. It's not fair that our hubby's get prison-sculpted bodies and we turn to jello.

You look great! Your girls are getting sooo big...they really only stay little for a short time, huh?

You should hit up Lesa while you are in Oregon! I hope the time flies by for you. Just think...in a couple weeks you will be an officer's wife! And you really don't have to worry about if he's in harm's way right now, since it's officer training. (Which, from what I heard is waaaaaaay easier than boot camp for enlisted! And he survived that!) And think what you get to look forward to now. You get to get good housing and may even be an FRG leader! But the best thing is MO' MONEY!! Mwahaha!

Do you know yet where you will be stationed? Love you guys!
